Do genetics play a role in gaming
Often times I would die in a game, and it feels really tilting because I spent so many hours in kovaaks and playing the game. Then I would blame it on genetics, because that’s the only thing left for me to blame. I now look at genetics differently after I researched on the topic. Gaming is obviously genetic in some way, because there are always kids who grind a game for hours and suck. This is no different from sports or academics. Genetics has an effect on part of success, but not all of it. Genetics in gaming are about 75% of your skill. Now I know people are going to click off with a dislike commenting that all this is fake, but hear me out. You ever think why usain bolt is the fastest? Annihilation 's "Shimmer" Genetic Mutations Explained
As a meteorite touches down in a lighthouse, punching through that and deep into the ground, a refractory light emitted from the area and began spreading outwards. As it did, anything it touched, it would begin altering the genome of that creature. But it wasnt just randomly changing, it seems that anything the creature touched or ingested, would become apart of its genome. In todays episode, we will discuss how this happened and what it means for those animals as well!

As humanity overpopulated on Earth because it was fun, resources the planet could offer became more and more scarce over time which resulted in outbreaks of conflicts all over the surface of the world. The larger countries eventually got involved to take these materials which sparked larger and larger issues for everyone as time passed. Eventually it became quite evident that humanity was not going to get this population issue under control and as such, they turned towards the stars hoping to find a new world. When they looked out, they saw potentially an earth like planet called Tanis. Seeing this as their only hope rather than just taking resources from the solar system which seems a little dumb, they built...

Well to show how genetically gifted usain is, if I trained and ate and had the exact life as usain bolt, he would still win. Every time. Now that doesn’t mean that hope is lost for everyone who isn’t genetically gifted. You would just have to put in more work or find a better training routine.

Seeing this as their only hope rather than just taking resources from the solar system which seems a little dumb, they built an arc of sorts to head towards Tanis and with it, put 60,000 people on board. However, when the next rotation comes out of hypersleep, they find there are monsters on board hunting them. Who are these monsters and why are they here? Lets discuss that in todays episode!

No Seriously, If Earth is running low on resources, why did we not just start mining Mars or the Moon?: 00:00
Guess the producers of this movie didn't FACTOR in some nerd on the internet asking this!: 1:41
Like you're gonna sit there and tell me, They could build a ship to get to Tanis but not colonize our own solar system first? Bruh what: 02:49
Like did we even try to land on Mars first? There are so many useable resources in our backyard why would we go to another continent?!: 17:37
No, Now I am upset because I only just connected this now rather than in the video. Crap in a hat-Thanks for watching!: 35:47

We know that diploid mammals inherit two copies of their genes, one from their mother and the other from their father. However, the phenotypic expression of these genes is predetermined by their parental origin and expression pattern. This is known as genomic imprinting, where one of the homologous parental alleles is epigenetically “marked” via DNA methylation during gametogenesis. Consequently, the appropriate imprinting of parental alleles is necessary for a balance of gene dosage to be established, in turn allowing for the regulation of normal embryonic growth and the development of specific lineages. When this balance is disrupted, the resulting effects of these imprinted genes are expressed in the organism’s phenotype. For instance, if either paternal or maternal genomes are duplicated, a surplus or deficit of gene dosage and its corresponding phenotypic effects will ensue. Insight into this process in mammals came from Sheila Barton and colleagues introducing an androgenetic inner cell mass (containing two paternally inherited genomes) into normal blastocysts to create chimeric mice that displayed altered size, weight, anterior-posterior axial length and skeletal abnormalities. Reciprocal experiments introducing gynogenonetic cells had the opposite effect. Together, these landmark studies provided the foundation for future studies that lead to our current understanding of genetic imprinting in mammals.
